About Us

Camp Chameleon provides kids with an opportunity to play, have fun and just be kids! We encourage enjoyment of the outdoors and teach children an appreciation for nature. Physical activity is emphasized with a variety of non-competitive sports and games. We provide a festive atmosphere that encourages participation in creative art and science projects, music, dance, and lots of special events! Campers enjoy field trips 5 days a week! Field trips to local pools and aquatic parks are combined with other favorites such as bowling, movies, arcades, roller skating, painting and ceramics, indoor gyms, to name a few!

Summer Camp 2024 Program

June 11, 2024 – August 09, 2024
Monday-Friday 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Extended hours available - 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. & 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Extended hours are available and included in the price of camp tuition. Simply check AM &/or PM on the registration form to sign up. Please note that in the event that a camper is not picked up by 6:00 pm, a $1 per minute late fee will be charged. Repeated late pick-up may result in camper dismissal from program.

You can register for sessions or chose individual weeks.

Camp fees will be prorated for the selected weeks and charged accordingly.

Programs & Activities

Young Chameleons

An exciting camp program for boys and girls entering grades K-5.
Small, age appropriate groups with low camper to counselor ratios.
Campers have fun swimming, playing sports, discovering nature and the arts, and going on field trips 5 days a week!

Chameleon Teen Camp

A program designed for middle school boys and girls entering grades 6 – 8.
Camp itinerary designed with teen interests in mind.
Teen campers play and travel to local field trips with their own age group 5 days a week!.

Counselors in Training (CIT’S)

For boys and girls entering grades 9-10.
Must be responsible, playful, and love young children!
Able to use creative and leadership skills by assisting counselors and Camp Director with special event planning and coordination.

Nature lovers will enjoy…
Exploring the local parks with hikes, fishing, animal and plant studies, naturalist guided tours, Everglades airboat rides, science experiments and more.

Creative types will love…
Arts and crafts including drawing and painting, ceramics, cooking, drama, dance, cheerleading, music, & camp talent shows!

Athletes will enjoy…
Non-competitive athletics including conditioning, stretching, volleyball, basketball, soccer, flag football, tennis, track & field and racquetball. Good old fashioned games like wiffle ball, kickball, dodgeball, boxball, gaga ball, food eating contests, group games, and Color War round out the fun!

Aquatic lovers will enjoy…
Our active water based itinerary including swimming at local pools, water playgrounds, slip and slide, water balloon fights and wacky water games!
